How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

Appointments may be made by telephoning 0844 815 1151.
Doctors' appointments can be booked up to one month in advance. Monday surgeries are kept as 'book on the day' only. A number of appointments are kept back each day to ensure urgent and emergency appointments can be catered for. If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible to enable another patient to have that slot. When you book an appointment you will be offered one with the first available doctor. If you wish to see a particular doctor it may not be possible to offer you an appointment to see that doctor within 48 hours.

Emergencies

If you are confronted by a serious problem such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding call an ambulance (telephone 999) before calling the surgery.

How Do I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?

Telephone Consultations
If you feel that your problem may be resolved by a telephone call you will be offered a telephone consultation with either the doctor or nurse. You will be given a rough estimate of the time that the doctor/nurse will call you.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

Patients are requested to telephone as soon as possible if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after 10.00am. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit.

How do I...
Obtain Test Results?

Please telephone to ensure test results have been recieved before booking an appointment with the doctor to discuss them.
